Very disappointed when order arrived.
"Very disappointed when order arrived. I specifically wanted Ronde de Nice summer squash not round zucchini. I have had both and there is a huge difference. I saw the 'de Nice' in the product listing and assumed it was Ronde de Nice (my mistake). However, when I did a google search for Round de Nice it asked if I meant Ronde de Nice, which suggests to me that there may not be a legitimate Round de Nice squash. No more ordering from this company for me."

"It's not as fussy as some other varieties of non standard summer squash, and less worry of a gluttonous bounty to pawn off on friends and neighbors. Stuffed with spicy rice and baked they're a nice lunch box side dish."

The zucchini wasn't as "round" as expected
"I enjoyed growing this plant the last year and the plant produced vigorously. However, the zucchini never really was round, even early in the growth stage. Instead, the fruit was more elongated, like an eggplant. I was still happy with my plants, but it didn't appear that roundness was being selected as a key trait for the seeds I received. I could have had a bad batch of seeds, but I did grow two plants and both didn't produce true round fruit."
Heat tolerant and beautiful
"I have never grown zucchini before and I planted 2 seeds. Both germinated and are growing in my garden. It's been hot here in TX and this plant still has beautiful foliage. I have only male flowers at this time, hopefully it will even out. I have to guard it against the snails though. I have narrow beds so it is the perfect size."
